The boy who was afraid is an excellent book Armstrong Sperry has put a lot of effort into writing this book. Seeing as it was during World WarII he probably came up with the story line the boy who was AFRAID. His being scared helped the book along a lot. The book was aimed at children to try to stop them being AFRAID of the War.
